Unfortunately, my experience with Jessica as my attorney was extremely disappointing. Over the course of nearly a year handling my custody case, she demonstrated a consistent lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for both me and the process. From the beginning, there were issues. Desp...ite repeated attempts to pay my retainer, the payment link was being sent to my ex-husband — a serious and inappropriate error. Additionally, I provided my ex-husband’s correct physical address multiple times, yet documents were repeatedly sent to the wrong address. At one point, paperwork was even sent with another child’s name on it. There were also multiple occasions where scheduled meetings simply did not happen because she failed to attend — without a call, text, or explanation. The most troubling matter was her repeated attempts to obtain my minor child’s full mental health records, despite my explicit refusal and confirmation from my child’s therapist that it was unnecessary. She continued to pressure me and billed me for related emails, even after my clear denial. The final incident occurred on July 30th of this year, when she again failed to appear for a scheduled Zoom meeting. I waited for over an hour with no communication. This was not an isolated event but part of a repeated pattern. I want to be clear: I have proof and documentation of everything I’ve stated here. Court dockets, emails, and billing records confirm her representation. I mention this because she has responded to other negative reviews by claiming, “I never represented this person.” That cannot be said in my case — my name and hers appear together in the Lorain County docket, which anyone can verify. In my experience, Ms. Camargo and her staff demonstrated incompetence, lack of attention to detail, and disregard for client communication. These failures directly impacted my case and my family. An attorney has an obligation to act in their client’s best interest, and when unable to do so, should refer the case to someone who can. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. For the sake of your time, finances, and peace of mind, I cannot in good conscience recommend her services. I intend to report my experience to the appropriate disciplinary bodies, as I have retained documentation of every issue described.

Before retaining attorney Camargo for representation, I had 2 prior attorneys from different law firms that had “tried to help me.” (Family Law-Defendant) I needed to find a lawyer who would truly listen and acknowledge me as an individual and NOT just, "another divorce case." When I reached out... to Jessica, I came to her needing someone who would be willing to defend truth and right and who would be willing to work and advocate for me and my kids to stay together. I can honestly say that Attorney Camargo is not only a great lawyer because she cares for her clients but also because she’s genuinely a great person. She has a strong knowledge of the law, does not forsake good communication, and is not afraid to litigate a matter worth fighting for. Ms. Camargo is a great attorney. She represented me in a domestic relations case involving custody of my daughter. She did an awesome job with everything and helped me reach an outcome in my case I was extremely happy with. She was very good at communicating and always returned my phone calls and ema...ils very quickly and made sure I understood everything very clearly with what was going on with my case. She was also extremely accommodating and went above and beyond working on my case outside of standard business hours. She also made everything very easy by working around my work schedule meeting with me on the evenings and weekends. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Jessica Camargo is hands down the best lawyer I have ever hired. She is literally my forever lawyer I'd recommend her over anyone. She works EXTREMELY hard to get you exactly the results you want. She listens to you, studies your case inside and out, and takes the time to understand every detail. S...he literally went through 3,000 (no joke) pages of evidence in my case. And picked apart the other party using their words against them. She is extremely easy to get ahold of and consistently communicates the details of your case to you. You're never in the dark about what's going on. She is knowledgeable about the law and writes absolutely incredible motions. She argues and advocates for you at every court hearing. Her opening and closing statements are extremely impressive and full of laws backing what she says. She makes sure the record is padded with every detail in your case in case it goes to appeals. Shes not afraid to argue with a magistrate or judge to get her point across shes very confident and bold. She has no problem objecting to a decision. She doesn't push deals on you but actually FIGHTS FOR YOU! Also she is not afraid to admit when she doesn't know and is eager to learn. She has represented me in family court, on a civil lawsuit, child support and divorce court. She knows her stuff. She is affordable and truly earns every cent she bills for. There are lawyers that charge you an arm and a leg and you don't do anything for you, Jessica is not one of them. On a personal note she is an extremely kind and genuinely an amazing person. She puts her heart and soul into her cases and her love for her job shines through. I appreciate her more than a review can express. I am so blessed to have her as a forever attorney and friend!
