Warren and Young was started in Ashtabula, Ohio in 1922 by Theodore E. Warren, my grandfather. The firm has been providing quality legal services to businesses and individuals in the northeast Ohio region ever since.
I joined Warren and Young in 1983, after spending two years at Baker & Hostetler, a national law firm headquartered in Cleveland. My practice consists of helping businesses (both for profit and non-profit) accomplish their mission and manage their risk, and assisting individuals in accomplishing their goals.
I have successfully guided businesses from the formation stage, through expansion to ultimate sale. I represent small companies that have less than five employees, as well as businesses with as many as 2,500 employees in 10 states. I have significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, joint ventures and licensing.
I have also helped hundreds of families plan and manage their estates and business ventures. I sit on numerous non-profit and philanthropic boards, and have formed and assisted dozens of charitable organizations. I often speak at conferences or functions about business, charitable giving and non-profit management. I have also held statewide office as President of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association.
My goal is to provide quality, value added legal services to my clients, giving them my personal attention, at a reasonable cost.

My family and I have used Mr. Cordell for more than ten years. He handles all of our estate planning including wills and other documents and vehicles. He also handled everything that needed to be done including the preparation of all documents for filing at our mother's death.
