Client was charged with rape as a Class A Felony; preparing for trial I obtained cell phone records of my client and of the alleged victim, took depositions and reviewed 1000's of pages of discovery. ... after 3 days of trial, the alleged victim took the stand and subjected to cross examination and presented with more than enough certified documentation to convince the jury that my client did absolutely nothing wrong and the alleged victim was not the pristine registered nurse she held herself out to be, but a deceitful, lying, drug addict who had fabricated the story somehow hoping to persuade her ex-boyfriend to come back to her. The jury was out for less than ten minutes and acquitted on all counts, I walked out the front door of the courthouse with my client a free man.
OUTCOME: Convicted of triple homicide; Jury refused to give the Death penalty voting 11-1 for life without parole, which he is now serving
