May 01, 2017OUTCOME: Waiver of Inadmissibility Granted – Lawful Permanent Residence
Client’s United States citizen parent petitioned for client to adjust status to become a lawful permanent resident. Client’s previous attempts to adjust status were thwarted because of multiple prior ... arrests for marijuana possession. With representation by Adam N. Crandell, client was able to prove eligibly for a waiver of inadmissibility – even though client’s prior criminal charges had been expunged and client was unable to provide court-certified dispositions of the charges. Client’s waiver and application for permanent residency were granted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
