This cross appeal arises from an action by Mother seeking the termination of parental rights (TPR) against Father. Father counterclaimed for a change of custody. On appeal, Mother argues the family cou ... rt erred in (1) disregarding the South Carolina Supreme Court's order limiting expert testimony about Father's psychosexual testing, (2) awarding grandparent visitation, (3) ordering expanded reunification with Father absent a change of circumstances, and (4) denying TPR and applying res judicata to a TPR action. Mother additionally argues the administrative judge for the family court erred by sua sponte amending a prior order and assigning a resident judge to preside over the TPR trial. Father argues the family court erred in (1) refusing to order a change of custody and (2) denying his request for attorney's fees. We affirm.

Husband was granted a divorce from his wife . Part of the family court's order required Husband to establish a $300,000 alimony trust to secure periodic alimony payments to Wife in the event he predece ... ased her. Husband appealed and the Court of Appeals affirmed, but also modified the order so that Husband could meet his obligation by securing life insurance. See Gilfillin v. Gilfillin, 334 S.C. 213, 512 S.E.2d 534 (Ct.App. 1999). Husband appealed. Supreme Court reversed.
