Matthew Christopher Mollica

I am an Associate Attorney at The Law Offices of Saia & Piatt. My practice is almost exclusively Criminal and DUI/OVI Law throughout Central and Southeastern Ohio. I graduated from the Trial Lawyers College in 2021.

I practiced at Gottlieb, Johnston, Beam & Dal Ponte, PLL in Zanesville from 2018 to 2021. I graduated from Vermont Law School in 2017 with a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Criminal Law. During law school, I interned at the Supreme Court of Ohio as a full-time judicial extern to Justice William M. O’Neill, the Delaware County (OH) Prosecutor’s Office, the Windsor County (VT) State’s Attorney’s Office, and Vermont Law School’s Environmental and Natural Resource Law Clinic.

I was born in Athens and graduated in 2007 from Athens High School. I graduated from Oregon State in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Outside of his work as an attorney, I have volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, and SCORE. I coached numerous basketball, baseball, and track teams. Most recently I was the Assistant Varsity basketball coach for South Royalton High School and the Assistant Varsity/Head Freshman basketball coach for Franklin Heights High School.

I am a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Guernsey County Bar Association, and the Muskingum County Bar Association.
