After ex ... tensive negotiations, my client authorized me to finalize the terms and conditions of a plea agreement in which she agreed to enter a guilty plea to one count of Indecent Assault of a Child Less than 13 Years, a first degree misdemeanor; for and in consideration of the agreement by the Office of the District Attorney to: withdraw all originally-filed felony and misdemeanor charges, waive an applicable 10-year mandatory minimum sentence and, recommend a period of probation to be set by the Court. Ultimately, the judge accepted the terms of the negotiated plea agreement, sentenced my client to 5-years of probation, and ordered Megan’s law registration.
