Workers Compensation case involving employer Spirit Aerosystems. Claimant suffered a laceration to his leg while working at Spirit and was subsequently hospitalized for a life threatening infection to ... the leg. Claimant was hospitalized for nearly one month for this injury and incurred substantial medical bills and damages. Spirit claimed that the medical bills were not covered charges within the workers compensation laws of Kansas. The case was eventually decided by the Kansas Court of Appeals.
