Handled family estate. I would send emails as seldom got return phone calls. Each week would send follow-up awaiting response, which usually took 2 to 3 wks to get. As executor, I received letters twice from probate court with warnings that I failed to meet certain deadlines. Each time I had met ...deadlines, but found Hallett did not file paperwork. I had check ($$) issued and given to Hallett to be sent with paperwork to my brother. Several months later my brother called to ask when he would be receiving check. Hallett had never sent him check! Had bonds which had to be sent to Federal office to be cashed in. Each month when I checked status, he told me it takes quite awhile. After I investigated elsewhere on timing, found he had never sent them in! His wife who works in office contimually covers for him. Terrible experience!

Mr Hallett was hired to help in an elder abuse situation of relatives against my parents . I had already had contact with the Fulton County Sheriff , Elder abuse through the county and State and still needed an attorney. Mr Hallett started out with promise to help but as soon as he received our money... he no longer responded to my emails or calls with reports of vandalism and threats to us from the people doing the abuse . Physical and mental abuse as well as neglect and financial stealing have continued to my parents and they are terrified for their lives to get help on their own . Their physical and mental state is compromised from dementia and illness . Mr Hallett was a great disappointment and never followed through as well as charging us for " thinking about the situation "

Very bad experience. He had my Dad sign a "quit claim" deed on March 17, (Saturday) on his death bed to my sister. It was recorded on Monday, 19th, my Dad passed away on the next day, 20th. I know my Dad would NEVER do this in his right mind. He was completely incoherent on Sunday (18th). I tried sev...eral times to contact him (and my sister) with no return calls. I can understand my sister not calling, but Chris should have returned my calls. I really believe there are some ethics issues here, I have engaged an attorney of my own, who has sent letters to Chris that have not been responded to. At the very least I would of thought he would have contacted me when I called, he certainly should have had some witnesses, and or video tape of the signing of the quit claim. I would never recommend this attorney, and would caution anyone using his services.
