Will Ohio know about OVI's in Other States? If so will them knowing impact sentencing and fines?

Yes...the court should be aware of his prior out-of-state OVIs. If they are aware, the sentencing will likely be much harsher.

This is very strange. It sounds like a mistake was made. I would call the clerk of courts on Tuesday morning to try to clear it up.

This is not uncommon. They have to wait for a bed to open. Once he gets to River City, he will get through the program in whatever time it takes to...

I would say that there is a decent chance that they will release him on July 6th, continue his probation, and require him to get into treatment....
