Johnson County Trial Not Guilty Verdict

OUTCOME: Acquittal

Domestic violence was alleged, and while client admitted to police that he grabbed his wife he stated he was doing it to protect her from herself as she was suffering from mental problems. The DA char ... ged him and we set the case for trial. On cross examination the alleged victim admitted she was severely medicated at the time and didn't have a clear recollection of events or of even talking to the police. Following trial, the client was acquitted of all charges.
