Biography
During my career, I have served my profession by being actively involved with many committee assignments. For the Ohio State Bar Association, I have served on the Negligence Law Committee and on the Legal Assistants Committee.
For the Toledo Bar Association, I have served on many committees. I have been involved with the Grievance Committee and the Fee Arbitration Committee for most of my career. I have also served on other committees through the years including the Doctors and Lawyers Joint Committee, Lucas County Common Pleas Court Committee, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and others.
I have had a special interest in Legal Ethics issues and I have given some lectures to various groups throughout the years on this topic. I have also been a Prosecutor for the Toledo Bar Association in bringing ethics charges against offending attorneys. Now, I am interested in pursuing legal malpractice claims for persons who have been damaged by their attorneys.
I have been happily married to the same wonderful woman since 1965 and we have three married sons and many grandchildren. My wife and I have traveled to all seven continents and to over 60 countries around the world. As long as we keep our good health we will continue to travel and interact with our extended family.
I belong to the Sylvania Sunrise Lions Club and I also devote quite a bit of volunteer time to the Toledo-Lucas County Humane Society.
