Mr. Farsiou successfully represented his client, a former Somerville High School football coach, in obtaining a dismissal of a lawsuit brought against him by one of his former players. Mr. Farsiou was ... retained by the Somerville High School insurance carrier. The case was brought by the former player alleging violations of the Anti-Bullying Act, N.J.S.A. § 18A:37-13 and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A. 10:5-12. The Court issued a 108-page opinion dismissing all claims against the former coach. According to Mr. Farsiou, this case could potentially be the seminal case in the state of New Jersey regarding bullying/discrimination with respect to coaching.
