Client was attacked outside of a bar in Tunica, Mississippi. The attacker jumped on the client's back, put him in a chokehold, then wrestled my client to the ground, where the attacker proceeded to str ... angle my client. My client, in a panic, reached for his firearm and shot his attacker in the neck. Law enforcement came and arrested my client for aggravated assault. Our investigation revealed that law enforcement failed to watch the video footage of the incident, but the prosecution refused to dismiss the case. We took the case to trial, and after three days, a jury returned a verdict of not guilty.

Our client was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance. At trial, the officer first testified that he smelled alcohol and marijuana and observed our client with blood shot eyes, leani ... ng on the vehicle, and failing a field sobriety test. He also testified that he searched the vehicle, found a bag of marijuana and a bottle of ecstasy. During cross examination, the officer admitted that he did not fill out a report, lost all body and dash cam footage of the stop, and did not submit any of the alleged items to a testing facility. Based on the lack of evidence, the judge dismissed the case.

Our client was arrested for DUI. During trial, the officer testified that he observed our client with blood shot eyes and he smelled alcohol coming from her. During cross examination, we made the offic ... er admit that he did not observe any signs of impairment and that it was possible that our client was not impaired. We then had him admit that it was also possible that the "strong odor of alcohol" that he smelled could have been coming from the passenger of the vehicle. We moved for a directed verdict, and the court granted our motion, finding our client not guilty.

Our client left work late on a Friday night when there was little traffic. On the way home, an officer pulled him over, saying that he "matched the description" of someone that they were investigating. ... The officer testified that he "smelled the strong odor of alcohol," then arrested our client, charging him with a DUI. The officer, a rookie, never asked for a breath test, nor did he ever subject our client to a field sobriety test. Rather, during our cross examination, the officer testified that aside from smelling what he believed to be alcohol, the client showed ZERO signs of intoxication, nor did he seem to be driving while impaired. After a bench trial, the Court found our client NOT GUILTY.

After a one-day trial, a jury returned a not guilty verdict.

The State indicted Mr. Davis in September 2017 for one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and one count of armed robbery. The State's case against Mr. Davis hinged on the unsupported testimony ... given by the alleged victim. Despite there being two other defendants and attorneys, our firm was the only one able to track down witnesses to support our position and undermine the State's case. After a two-day trial, where we were able to get the investigator to admit that there was no evidence to support the charges, and which included four hours of cross-examining the alleged victim, the jury returned a verdict of NOT GUILTY.
