Patron was injured when he tripped and fell on misaligned bumper block in casino garage. Casino employee admitted that he knew that the misaligned bumper blocks were a tripping hazard before the occur ... rence. Corporate representative of the casino conceded that casino failed to inspect the bumper blocks or implement any form of proactive safety procedures or perform proactive maintenance with respect to the bumper blocks The circuit court found that the casino had no knowledge of such a hazardous condition on the premises. The circuit court granted summary judgment in favor of the casino. The Court of Appeals revered the circuit court's order granting summary judgment and found that there was a genuine issue of material fact in dispute as to whether the casino has actual knowledge of the hazard posed by the misaligned bumper blocks.
