We hired this attorney to handle an estate case and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. The process dragged on far longer than it should have, and the lack of proactive communication was a consistent problem throughout. We were constantly the ones reaching out for updates rather than... hearing from her. At one point we had to go to the courthouse ourselves to obtain a document that should have been handled by her office. That alone told us a lot about how our case was being managed. When it came to selling the estate property, we were told everything was in order. It was not. The documents required by the title company said otherwise and created unnecessary complications that could have been avoided with proper attention to detail. Billing questions were met with one word passive agressive email responses. No explanation, no professionalism, just the bare minimum. What made this experience worse was the complete lack of empathy. We were going through a difficult and emotional situation and it was clear we were nothing more than a transaction to her. A good attorney in this area of law needs to understand that estate work is personal and often happens during the hardest seasons of a family's life. We never felt like a priority or a client. We would not recommend her services.
