Do not waste your time!

Ron was hired by my union to represent me in a matter where I was relentlessly being mistreated and targeted by my boss for 5 years. He was rude, harsh & not at all sympathetic to everything I, as well as several other coworkers, had endured by my toxic boss and the horrible environment she had creat...ed in our building. I work for a school district that has very corrupt administrators and bullying is something they commonly do to their employees, especially if they are vocal and speak up for their students and what is in their best interest. Anyway, Ron was supposed to be supportive and help me know my rights as a tenured teacher; however, this was NOT the case. Ron would have had me sign resignation papers within the first 2 weeks of being assigned to me by Ohio Education Association. He never once made me believe that he was on my side...and I was the one that had been mistreated for so long. I fired him after 2 weeks, even though the union was footing the bill. I decided it was worth paying for my own attorney and saving my 19 year career. I have since had a 4 day school hearing (with 22 of my own witnesses) and the referee came out in my favor. I am happy I did not continue using Ron for my legal help. He would have had me resign from the job I love, and that is just not acceptable to me!!

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
