Melissa Ann Schumacher

Melissa is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Wright & Associates, LLC who has represented hundreds of clients in a broad assortment of legal matters. Her legal experience began in 2011, when she worked as a legal secretary at a general practice firm in South Eastern Ohio while obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Political Science. After graduating with honors from Ohio University in 2015, Melissa went on to pursue her law degree at Capital University where she was an editor of the law review and graduated cum laude in 2018. After earning her law degree, Melissa practiced law at a well- respected general practice firm in Southeastern Ohio where she gained valuable experience representing clients throughout the state in a variety of legal matters, including domestic relations, estate planning, oil and gas law, adoptions, guardianships, trusts, and real estate matters. In addition to litigating cases in the trial court, Melissa has also represented clients in the appellate courts and the Ohio State Supreme Court.  As an associate at the Law Office of Wright & Associates, Melissa has also gained valuable experience in litigation construction defect cases as well as insurance cases. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, travelling, reading, and playing volleyball.
