Leslie focuses on criminal/traffic defense and civil litigation as a partner at Albeit Weiker, LLP. She grew up in Pataskala and attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she played varsity volleyball, interned for a Delaware County Common Pleas judge, and worked for a prominent criminal defense law firm. Immediately following her undergraduate studies, Leslie attended Capital University Law School. She served as a law clerk for a criminal defense firm throughout her time at Capital. Leslie graduated from law school with honors and immediately began work at a boutique law firm specializing in criminal defense and plaintiff’s personal injury cases. Leslie moved on to a larger firm where she continued her criminal defense practice and gained extensive experience in insurance defense litigation.
Leslie co-launched Albeit Weiker with a commitment to provide meaningful, personal, and affordable representation to her clients. She takes pride in her relationships with clients and in the positive results she obtains. Clients often compliment Leslie on her ability to calm their stressful and confusing emotions that naturally come when appearing in court.
Leslie is specifically an advocate for protecting her client’s permanent record, and has helped numerous clients expunge/seal convictions from their record.
Leslie utilizes her insurance defense background to assist victims in prosecuting motor vehicle accident claims that have resulted in various injuries, from soft tissue cases to wrongful death claims. Leslie has gained vast knowledge of the practices, policies, and negotiation strategies used by the insurance companies, which allows her to provide unparalleled representation to her clients.
Leslie lives in Bexley with her husband, Daniel, daughter, Olivia, and her two dogs, Riggin and Nellie. When she is not assisting clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing at the dog park, or attempting to re-live her glory days on the volleyball court.
