Lauren Anne Sabo

I’ve worked in the human service field over the past 20 years with a number of special needs populations providing educational and behavioral health services. During this time, I’ve come across a number of educational attorneys. None have shown the productive combination of dedication, compassion, ...professionalism, and thorough efficiency that Lauren has shown. I had the pleasure of meeting Lauren when she was completing law school. I was pleasantly amazed at her eye for detail and her solution orientated courses reasoning and problem solving abilities, at this early stage of her career. I remember thinking to myself that “She is going to be a major asset to families in need.” I am happy to report that Lauren did not disappoint. She has been a support system to many families in the Columbus area, always providing the highest level of care regarding her services. She is incredibly knowledgeable about special education law; but also, she knows what goes into drafting an effective and appropriate IEP. This important fact makes Lauren an even more effective advocate for people with special needs, as she can provide support at every level of the special education process. Additionally, Lauren is extremely responsive to my inquiries. Whenever I have a question, I email or call her and I get a very quick response. She's been a great resource for me as a human services professional and I am sure that she will continue to be an excellent resource for students and families within special needs community in Central Ohio.

We hired Lauren because our school district was not allowing our autistic son to pursue his high school education after four years of high school. He had been accepted into a program, Project Search, that was a perfect fit for him, yet his school district wanted to graduate him and not allow him to t...ake advantage of this opportunity. Lauren accomplished our goal of getting the school district to reverse its position and allow Will to attend the program. Lauren deeply cares about these students and it shows in the way she goes above and beyond what her legal services entail. For our son, she set up a job shadow opportunity for him with her cousin whose business she thought may be a good match for him. She’s great!
