Kurt Ashton Knisley

Kurt Knisley has been practicing law since 2011, after earning his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School and passing the Ohio Bar. While in law school, Kurt gained invaluable experience through an extended internship with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, where he honed his courtroom skills and developed a passion for trial work.

Since that time, Kurt has dedicated his career to representing injured workers throughout Ohio. He has appeared in hearings across the state and has built extensive experience in both trial work and appellate advocacy. His appellate practice includes cases before the 10th District Court of Appeals and even the Ohio Supreme Court, giving him a unique perspective on how to fight for clients at every level of the legal system.

As a workers’ compensation attorney, Kurt focuses on making sure his clients receive the medical care and compensation they deserve. This includes fighting to secure approval for treatments such as MRIs, therapy, and surgeries, as well as ensuring workers are properly compensated for lost wages and time off the job. He knows how devastating a workplace injury can be for a family, and he approaches each case with honesty, persistence, and genuine care for his clients’ well-being.
