Jo Ellen Kaiser

I had two different experiences with this lawyer. I met her in 2020, and back then she did good. She used to work with another lawyer, who was very helpful. I went back to her few months ago this year with another case., First of all, she will communicate a little if not at all about the case wi...th you. She will keep continuing your case, and at the end you’ll loose because she doesn’t do much. I was so confused by the way she handled the case that I wondering if she even understood what was needed to be done. She made two continuances, and at the third time she asked me to withdraw the case with no valid explanation. This lawyer’s assistant is even worse. Very arrogant and disrespectful.

Jo is my attorney currently and I have not spoken to her in about 5 months. I start trial soon and she has not returned any of my calls. I cannot believe I paid this woman to do nothing. I am honestly fed up and I wish I could rate her negative 5 stars. Save your money while you can, take it from me....

In 2016 Mrs Kaiser cohered me to waive my right for a speedy trail to ( build a defense ) in her words; she missed 2 pre trail hearings that subsequently extended my time in jail and when she finally did show she showed with ....... that’s right you guessed it “ NO “ defensive strategy !!!! I requ...ested her to take the case to trail she says ok the day of trail I request to change into my suit and they said per her request it’s not trail it’s a pre trail requested by her ??????? They deliberate for a damn hour for her to come out and tell me to take a plea, I said NO ...... she refused to negotiate and Ofcourse no defense on a case that could have been discharged and handle with a single piece of evidence that she refused to get ...... Smh.......

I had hired Jo for a child support case. The consultation went great and i was very confident. Two weeks later she would not answer her cell phone, office phone, or email. She showed up two hours late to my hearing and then convinced me to drop the motion and try again in 3-6 months. This was the wor...st experience that I ever had and would never trust her with any of my legal matters.

Jo was court appointed to my case and did little work that an attorney should be doing. Never answers her phone and waits weeks to call you back. Within the 5 years dealing with this woman, she did two home visits and called me maybe 3 times. She requests Continuances left and right because she waits... until the last second to do anything and then needs more time.. so be prepared for your case to be drawn out months or even years... that is IF she decides to do anything. Has very little regard for the actual truth and facts of a case because once she forms an opinion about you she has her mind set and nothing will change her skewed perception of things...I don't even know how she is practicing law!! If I could give zero stars I would.
