James Mark Schottenstein

James M. Schottenstein serves as President of Schottenstein Law Legal Services Co., LPA. A lifelong Columbus, Ohio native, he was born on February 8, 1947, and has spent decades building a practice supported by broad state and federal court admissions. Mr. Schottenstein was admitted to the Ohio bar in November 1972 and expanded his practice to Florida the following year, gaining admission to the Florida Bar in 1973. His federal admissions began in 1975, when he was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Tax Court. Over time, he added additional federal jurisdictions, including admission to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 2003. In 2006, Mr. Schottenstein was admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, reflecting a career with experience and access across multiple levels of the court system.
