Christopher Tackett is an experienced litigator and problem solver that takes pride in identifying and executing creative solutions to resolve complex issues for his clients. Mr. Tackett represents businesses in commercial litigation; business negotiations; employment advising and litigation, including internal investigations and response to discrimination charges filed with the EEOC and OCRC; along with various types of administrative litigation before state and federal agencies, including those adjudicating employment matters and tax controversies. Mr. Tackett frequently handles commercial litigation matters involving complex contract disputes, contentious business breakups, D&O claims, IP and trade-secret litigation, and disputes regarding alleged non-solicitation or non-compete violations between businesses and their former employees. Also, Mr. Tackett has handled a number of cases involving class actions and other types of procedurally complex litigation, including as lead counsel defending a class action alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Mr. Tackett is admitted to practice law in Ohio, as well as admissions to the federal district courts for the Northern and Southern District of Ohio, and admission to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Tackett also represents businesses in privately administered arbitration, and arbitration before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc.). Further, in Mr. Tackett's tax litigation and tax controversy practice, he represents clients in administrative and quasi-judicial forums before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Ohio Taxation, and the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals.

Additionally, Mr. Tackett is actively involved in several industry-leading professional groups, including: as a member of the American Bar Association, actively involved in its Section of Litigation, and member of the Business Torts and Unfair Competition Law Committee and Co-Chair of its Sound Advice Podcast; member of the Ohio State Bar Association; and, the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio, for which he also serves on its Legal Affairs Committee.
