This client with a prior DUI conviction was charged with OVI in Delaware County after totaling his car in a single-car accident. The Ohio Highway Patrol was able to obtain his medical records from the ... night of the accident which placed his blood alcohol content at .227. When the client came to Mr. Davis, he was almost certainly looking at significant jail time. However, after reviewing the evidence, Mr. Davis found numerous problems with the investigation of the case. Because of these legal issues, the charges were amended to a minor misdemeanor and the client was sentenced to pay a $100.00 fine.
