Biography

With over 40 years of courtroom and negotiation experience, Barry Wolinetz is known for taking on challenging cases and guiding clients through high-stakes disputes. He pursued advanced study in political science at The Ohio State University and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1971. Prior to founding Wolinetz Law Offices in 2005, he practiced at three firms, advancing from associate to partner while handling increasingly complex litigation. Mr. Wolinetz’s background includes virtually every major type of civil case, including prominent divorce matters as well as Civil RICO claims, federal securities litigation, tax court and federal court issues, real estate disputes, employment and contract matters, restrictive covenant cases, bankruptcy dischargeability litigation, and insurance-related controversies. His current practice centers on general litigation, with particular focus in domestic relations and business law. He has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” for 11 straight years and maintains an AV Martindale-Hubbell rating, a distinction awarded for exceptional legal skill and ethics. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio.

Justice for Judith

For any decent and good wife or husband who has been mistreated or betrayed by their spouse, Barry is the attorney you need to come to for guidance, knowledge, protection and results for a fair settlement. He is direct, firm yet kind in his guidance. He is ferocious and does not back down in his figh...t for you. It is his name and reputation that acts as a shield of protection for his clients. In a time of confusion and hurt there is none better. I thank God for him and what he did for me almost six years ago. He is not just an attorney, he's a friend in a time when you need him most. I would have lost everything without him. Sadly, sometimes at the end of a marriage, it's not how much love is still there, it's how little they want to leave you with.
