Failure is just another data point. It doesn't need to define us.
Clients come to me with a specific problem, but usually it's the just tip of the iceberg in their lives. It's my job to advocate for you in crisis, set you up for success, and teach you the skills you need so that you won't need me the next time.
I advocate for students with and without disabilities. I believe that effective educational advocacy begins with knowledge – knowledge of not only the laws surrounding education, but also knowledge of disabilities, and how educators teach. Caring, Attentive and Professional
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Emily. She spent the time working with us on prepping for our transition IEP meeting and inquiried about things I would never have thought of during the meeting. She helped us rewrite the document and was an absolute essential part of our...
"Emmy is someone that truly knows how to make you feel comfortable and at ease. She is diligent with her work and unbelievably knowledgeable in her practice area. She pays attention to your needs, and I would feel 100% confident referring anyone to her for legal help or advocacy."
"I worked with Emily representing a client in a serious and complicated matter. Emily is great to work with as she is responsive with communication and she informed me about areas of law that I was not familiar with. Together we were able to secure an excellent result for our client."
"Emmy is a unique advocate & attorney - she understands both sides of the table and how to effectively work with parents and schools towards a resolution that is TRULY in the best interest of the child. Her work ethic, knowledge, and communication skills are outstanding. I highly endorse Emmy as a Special Education advocate & attorney."
"I have worked with Emily on several occasions and have found her to be personable, detail-oriented, refreshingly reasonable, attentive to clients, and very effective in her representation. Not only does her deep understanding of special education law give her an advantage, but also her approach creates an atmosphere in which people want to help her solve her clients' problems."
