Client charged with Receiving Stolen Property under Ohio Revised Code 2913.51, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Client was facing a potential 180 days incarceration and a $1000.00 fine if convicted ... of the charge. The State of Ohio alleged that the Defendant had stolen a cell phone from a T-Mobile stand. After interviewing the sales staff at T-Mobile, Criminal Defense Counsel was able to find holes in the State's case that crippled them from going forward, which in turn led to another dismissal. The client was more than ecstatic to say the least.
