Paid and received no effort on case

I hired her because she is representing another client with the same complaint. I paid her the retainer, provide ALL court files, list of complaints, questions to accompany the complaint, contact information of each player involved in complaint, a detailed log of events pertaining to instances for co...mplaints, and case law to support the claims. Within 2 months, we've met once, briefly. She has cancelled our meetings 4 times, usually within an hour of meeting. She rescheduled, but cancels just reschedule, but then cancels... Revolving over and over but still, no meeting. I'm losing faith in her professional abilities and worthiness to her client, ME! She is scattered, unorganized, and eager. There is no output from her. I try to remain calm and patient as I'm sure she is busy, but if the case load is too big, then say that and refund my upfront retainer! She is young, age and time in service does matter in law, everything is time sensitive. My opinion, she is not prepared to take cases that require attention to detail. She focuses on chasing the goose with paperwork instead of preparing the complaint. I find myself doing more work as a legal assistant, than as a client. The cycle never ends. I'm ready to fire her and move on to a more focused lawyer for my legal situation.

No integrity

Details02/09/2019 She briefly represented me after my near-death accident with my youngest daughter and put minimal to no effort into helping, them abandoned me at the last second. She’s VERY unprofessional. She’s engaged to my daughter’s father’s new bully attorney (that has threatened my attorne...y) and is treating my attorney (her old colleague/friend) very unprofessionally because of conflicts of interest that have arisen. Her demeanor and conduct is not mature, ethical, professional, or trustworthy.

Screwed me over

Her communication was very poor, she said she believed in me but I had to bug her daily to get her to do anything! In one breath she said money wasn't an issue, but the next moment she criticized me for payment! She encouraged me to settle on a case that is hurting me in a case very much! I haven't s...een my daughters in months and it's looking like 3 or months before I see them again. She dropped me because I sent her hundreds of messages and emails begging for updates or her to do something. In 8 months she filed ONE motion! She's a liar and a false hope. Go to someone else!
