When a court enters a custody decree, that Court retains control over any changes to custody regardless of where the custodian and the children may live. I effectively moved a case from California to ... Arkansas and got two young girls out of the grasp of the father that had sexually abused them. It was a hotly contested case, and it felt good to win not only in Arkansas but in California as well.
