My client was driving on the wrong side of a state highway on Route 1 very late at night and had consumed some alcohol. The police flagged her down and pulled her over into a car dealership where she b ... umped her car into a parked vehicle. She had no license and could not speak any English. The police officers used their phone to translate and had her conduct some field sobriety tests to which she performed poorly on. All the field sobriety tests were suppressed due to evidentiary issues and the case proceeded to trial. After the conclusion of the evidence, my client was found not guilty.

My client who was facing imminent deportation due to 2 domestic violence cases was found Not Guilty after a Jury Trial at the Lowell District Court. My client was in a tumultuous relationship with his ... ex-girlfriend who claimed that my client choked and beat her on 2 separate occasions which is why both cases were tried at once. On cross-examination, the credibility of the witness was destroyed as she was caught lying and flip flopping her story. We discovered there was no evidence of any injuries as the alleged victim testified to. After the Jury heard the case, my client was found Not Guilty on all charges!

OUTCOME: Not Guilty

My client was working as a chef for a restaurant and just finished working his shift. He decided to have 2 bud lights after work and then went to the bank. While he was leaving the bank, he pulled out ... onto the street and he struck a motor vehicle. There were no injuries but the police suspected my client was drunk and had him do some field sobriety tests to which they claimed he did horrible on. They claimed he had red glassy bloodshot eyes, a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath, and slurred speech. There were no videos at the scene but there was a booking video. After cross-examining the officers and putting their credibility to question, the jury came back after 10 minutes of deliberation and found my client Not Guilty!

A client of mine who has been living in the United States for over 25 years was facing removal back to Haiti because he was undocumented. Fortunately he had a path to permanent residency but he had a c ... riminal history standing in his way. He didn't have just 1, but 2 criminal convictions barring him from obtaining permanent residency through his U.S. Citizen wife. I vacated a very serious violent offense in his past and convinced the prosecutor to dismiss the matter in Brighton BMC. Afterwards, I was able to vacate another criminal conviction involving drugs and the prosecutor and I reached a resolution that would not affect his ability to adjust his status to permanent residency. I can proudly say that my client is on the path to get his green card after facing imminent deportation back to Haiti.
