Marie Louise Perella Hadden

I am bilingual and have my Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Spanish, with a Concentration in International Relations and a minor in Foreign Affairs. I am a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi.  I have been in practice in Ohio since 1992 when I passed the bar. I am licensed to practice, in Ohio, and before the Northern District of Ohio/Federal Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Ohio (Federal Court). I am also licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.  My principal area of practice is Immigration Law, which I have been practicing since January of 2004. I have been a member of AILA, the American Immigration Lawyers Association for ten years. I have assisted clients obtain asylum or withholding of removal from countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala, Mauritania, & Somalia among others. I have assisted clients obtain TPS from countries such as El Salvador, Honduras, Somalia, Haiti, Syria. I have assisted clients administratively and before the Immigration Court in obtaining NACARA. I have represented clients in removal proceedings, successfully in reopening proceedings with prior outstanding orders of removal and in obtaining relief of asylum, withholding, Nacara, cancellation of removal for LPR, cancellation of removal for non-LPR, TPS, and adjustment of status. I have successfully represented clients in obtaining the grants of I-246's stays of removal. I have assisted my clients in obtaining U.S. citizenship, N-600's LPR status, I-130's, DACA, TPS, U-visas, SIJ adjustments, and waivers such as I-601's, I-212's, and an I-212(e) waiver of the 2 year return requirement.

I am dedicated to assisting the community and have been volunteering to assist at a Legal Clinic through OHCO and through assisting with ESL since 2005. At OHCO  I was awarded the Padrino Award for my commitment to volunteering.
