Biography
I was an engineer and computer software developer before becoming a lawyer, but remain active on both professions. Principles in each profession have been valuable to me in the others. This is especially true in creating legal documents. They are all about desiging and building things that work well, and may be maintained.
As much as possible, I work on fixed fee per project basis, with quotes and delivreables for various stages. Clients decide before each stage whether to continue, and have received value for the previous stages.
