My client was living in situation where domestic violence was a part of her daily life. After her husband shot a firearm in the home, she sought a domestic violence protection order through the court s ... ystem. Her husband retained legal counsel and my client was bullied by his attorney. She sought legal help through our local non-profit agency, and I agreed through their referral to help her obtain a domestic violence protection order without fee. After having been with her husband for 30 years or more, my client had the courage and strength to say "enough is enough," and I am glad I was able to help her navigate the legal system and obtain a protection order to protect herself and her children.
