An unaccompanied minor from Honduras was ordered removed by an Immigration Judge in Utah in November 2014. We obtained a family court order in Guilford County, NC granting full custody to the family w ... ho had taken in the minor child. We filed for and received an I-360 Petition for Special Immigrant Juvenile approval. Then we reopened the removal proceed in Utah in order to have those proceedings terminated.

We compiled psych ... ological, financial, medical, and other documentation and successfully demonstrated that it would be an extreme hardship to his U.S. citizen spouse if he were not allowed to remain with his U.S. The Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver was approved. He then went to his interview in Guatemala and is now back in the U.S. as a lawful permanent resident and expecting his second child.
