• District Court for Clark County, Nevada • Charge Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident • This case was significant because Attorney Ross challenged the State’s use and ... definition of intent in the construct of battery in a vehicle collision. The trial judge ruled against the initial argument and her client was convicted. Attorney Ross was then able to appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court and successfully argue before them, which lead to a post-conviction dismissal of the charge.

The ACLU of Nevada file ... d an Amicus brief in support of the Coroner’s Inquest Program • This case was significant because Attorney Ross wrote the amicus brief and argued the case before the Nevada Supreme Court. The Justices agreed with our position and upheld the constitutionality of the program.
