Biography
I served in the Army for over 30 years, including 21 years as a Judge Advocate. I advised commanders on the full range of legal issues, including criminal, administrative, international, and contract and fiscal law. I served as the senior legal advisor to four multi-star commanders, led a legal team of 50 attorneys and paralegals dispersed over five states, and supervised the litigation and disposition of thousands of cases. Now, I am focused on helping families and individuals plan and provide for the future through personalized estate planning. When I am not practicing law, I serve as the Chairman of the Hardin County Ethics Board, and volunteer with the Lions Club, the VFW, the Joseph Holt Home, and Active Heroes. I have been happily married to my wife, Christiane, for 24 years, and since our three adult children flew the coop, I have time to invest in private practice and non-profits.
