Hawaii used the camping without a permit laws to prohibit the day time uses of large tents at beaches, and the same law to prohibit the homeless from sleeping at parks and beaches. I appealed at Ewa D ... istrict Court, which was eventually settled by the Hawaii Supreme Court, that ruled the law unconstitutional.
