Client was accused of using the ID of an associate without permission and charged with several serious felonies. Client made several statements to police that were incriminating. Through a thorough i ... nvestigation, Mr. Tait discovered that the alleged victim had a history of fraud related crimes in various other states and presented argument to suppress the admissions of the client, which were taken without proper Miranda warnings. The combination of the investigation and suppression arguments led to a dismissal of all charges!

Client was traveling in a car with a friend. Police conducted a traffic stop and searched the car, finding a large amount of Heroin, Ecstacy and prescription pain killers in the trunk, as well as drug ... paraphernalia inside the cab of the car. After a protracted fight, Mr. Tait convinced the prosecutor that the drugs and paraphernalia did not belong to the client and all charges were dismissed!

Client was traveling on an Arizona highway when pulled over by local law enforcement. Methamphetamine, weapons and a large amount of cash were found during a search of the car. The client insisted th ... at the items did not belong to him. After a nearly 18 month battle, Mr. Tait finally convinced the prosecutor that he would prevail in trial. The case was dismissed in it's entirety prior to trial, and the client was released to his family for Christmas.

Client was found to be in possession of a wallet that had been stolen in an armed robbery one month earlier. As a result, client's picture was placed in a photo line-up and presented to the victim. T ... he victim pointed out the client as the person who had robbed him. Additional items were located in the client's possession that police believed were taken in the armed robbery, as well as a gun that matched the description of the gun used in the robbery. Client was charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of kidnapping. Client adamantly denied any involvement. At trial, the defense was able to establish that apart from the wallet, no other items seized were actually taken from the victim and that the client had found the wallet and unsuccessfully attempted to return it to its owner. The defense also established that the client was actually elsewhere at the time the robbery occurred, and that the photo lineup was faulty. The jury returned verdicts of not guilty on all counts.

Client was charged with 10 counts of dangerous felonies including Armed Robbery, Threatening and Intimidating, and Aggravated Assault. Mr. Tait's client was looking at no less than 42 years if he lost ... all counts at trial. The prosecutor offered a plea offer of 17 years. Mr. Tait's client insisted that he was innocent of all charges except the least serious charges, which only required 18 months in prison, if convicted. At trial, Mr. Tait convinced the entire jury to come back not guilty on all but the least serious charges, and the client was released after 13 months in custody.
