OUTCOME: Case dismissed and mugshot taken off internet

Client and domestic partner get into physical altercation. Neighbor calls police and reports. Police question client about what happened. Client tells same story as neighbor but says just wants partner ... to leave but not go to jail because they run a business together and would damage the business reputation. Police take partner to jail anyway. Client goes to jail to try to take back her statements of the incident and police charge her with making false police report and is arrested. After intense discussions with prosecutor I was able to convince prosecutor that neither should be convicted but a mutual stay away order should go into effect and if no violations in 6 months both the domestic assault and false reports charges should be dismissed. After 6 months of no contact and no further problems, both cases were dismissed, their records cleared, and their mugshots removed from the online sources.

OUTCOME: Felony DUI reduced to misdemeanor and saved client's job

Client wrecked car on interstate leading to crash investigation that found client intoxicated. Background search revealed 3 previous DUI convictions and client was charged with 4th offense DUI, which i ... s felony and carries mandatory jail time of at least 150 days plus 2 years probation, and loss of drivers license for 6 years, and fines. By presenting facts favorable to client I was able to have her charges reduced to misdemeanor DUI and reduced her jail time by 2/3, from 150 days to 45. This also allowed client to keep a good job that would have been lost if convicted of the felony.

Client visits a friend's house for the first time and stays overnight. First thing the next morning police swarm the home to execute search warrant for a third person who lived at the home. Police foun ... d illegal drugs and guns under the home's floor boards. Client was charged with felonious possession of guns and drugs. I was able to present facts favorable to client that proved client had no knowledge of the drugs, guns, or person named in the search warrant, and got the case dismissed.

Divorce of a 7 year marriage resulting in 3 minor children under age 10. Father was an over the road truck driver making in excess of $70,000 per year. Mother was a homemaker and primary caretaker of t ... he three small children. Father leaves for route one day just before Christmas and never returns. He decided he would move in with his girlfriend in another state over 1,000 miles away. He quit his job and refused to work or worked jobs that did not report his income. For all intents and purposes, father abandoned his family. He made no attempts to call or visit children, paid no bills, and paid no child support despite Court orders to do so. I represented mother in filing for divorce. I obtained a divorce in favor of mother, all of the parties marital property for mother, child support to mother based on father's trucking income, a three year alimony award for mother, a judgment ordering father to pay mother's attorney fees, and an Order of contempt requiring father be jailed for 60 days for non-payment of support.
