OUTCOME: Successful reunification

I represented a father in a dependency and neglect case. The County filed a motion to Terminate my clients rights to his three boys and we went to trial. The case had been open for over two years and t ... he County determined that this was long enough and the foster parents should be allowed to adopt. Over the course of four days of trial we proved that my client was doing everything he was supposed to do, had made significant changes in his life and could parent his children. The County had simply given up on him and not even bothered to check on what he was doing for the better part of a year. Ultimately the Judge found in our favor and the Termination of Parental Rights was denied. Over the next year the kids came home and the case closed with custody to the parents. I still hear from him occasionally and the family is doing great.
