Disputed liability car wreck that occurred on I-30 in Dallas. Defendant Segovia lost control of his vehicle which caused the Plaintiffs to slow down. Defendant Carter then rear-ended the Plaintiff's ... vehicle. Tasby had $8,256.50 in past medical bills and Gary had $14,479.09. Both sustained soft-tissue injuries and Gary received a concussion. $1,600 pre-trial offer per Plaintiff from Defendant Carter's insurance company, zero from Defendant Segovia's.

Automobile collision in Dallas County. The Plaintiff was travelling on Manana which has one lane going each way. After missing his turn, he put on his left turn signal and began turning left into a b ... usiness parking lot when the Defendant, coming from behind, attempted to pass him on the left and struck his driver's side door. The Defendant claimed that the incident was 100% the Plaintiff's fault, that he didn't use his turn signal, and that he first pulled over to the right as if he was going to turn right. The Plaintiff sustained $11,500 in past medical bills and his injuries included two herniated discs in his cervical spine that caused radiating pain down his right arm even after treatment. The case was mediated and the Defendant rejected the 15k mediator's proposal. The Defendant only offered 7.5k on the day of trial. At trial, the Defendant contested liability and attacked the Plaintiff's damages with 3 defense experts including a chiropractor, an MD, and a medical billing specialist.
