This was an appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court following the Third District Court of Appeals affirming the Hancock County Common Pleas Court granting summary judgment in favor of the City of Findlay on t ... he basis of sovereign immunity. The issue was whether stop signs are considered a ‘public road’ for the purposes of sovereign immunity. The Ohio Supreme Court determined that the City of Findlay was not immune.
