Client was charged with multiple sexual offenses regarding an ex-girlfriend, who had accused client of many sexual acts done without consent. We took the matter to trial, and were able to convince the ... court that no rational fact-finder would find in favor of the state; this is a very high standard, and higher than even proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The judge agreed, and granted our motion to dismiss, which was argued after the state's case was finished. Winning a case at that stage is incredibly rare, and we are gratified by the outcome.

We were able ... to successfully expunge certain non-sexual-offenses from S.E.'s record, and then submitted a petition to the Oregon Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision seeking relief from registration as a sex-offender. After a hearing, the Board unanimously granted relief.
