Four years ago, the Plaintiff and her husband were driving southbound on Interstate 25 south of Castle Rock when a motorist crossed their lane in front of them to make a U-turn at an emergency median c ... rossing. The motorist hit the plaintiffs' car, causing it to roll several times. One of the plaintiffs was left with permanent paralysis in her legs and lost substantial use of her hands. She sued the driver, the company that made the seat belts in her car — Japan-based Takata Corp. — and the windshield maker of her Honda vehicle.
