In this divorce matter, all issues were in dispute: child custody/parenting time, equitable distribution, alimony, ad child support. Sadly, both parties took unreasonable positions, and we ended up in ... a trial. The Husband appeared pro se. Attempts at negotiations continued and were encouraged by the Judge throughout the trial. Unfortunately, neither party was willing to compromise. Not surprisingly, both were unhappy with the decision of the court, which was almost precisely aligned with the compromise I had tried so hard to broker between the parties. The trial was an invaluable courtroom experience in eliciting and presenting testimony and evidence.
