Lucas H. Wetton

Luke, a seventh-generation Kentuckian from Logan County, blends his rich heritage with extensive professional experience. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Centre College before joining his family’s industrial environmental technology business in Wuhan, China. After returning to the U.S., he led fabrication and installation projects across the country and in Mexico. In pursuit of a legal career, Luke attended Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was actively involved in the Student Bar Association and the Mock Trial Team. Graduating in 2022, he served as a Staff Attorney for the 8th Judicial Circuit Court of Kentucky under Judges John Grise and Steve Wilson.
Luke's practice spans business and corporate law, civil litigation, probate, domestic law, and criminal defense, as well as insurance litigation and construction. He resides in Russellville, Kentucky, with his wife Wenjing Li on their family farm. Outside work, Luke enjoys tinkering, cooking, and reading, with a passion for genealogy and history.
He is a member of the Kentucky and Tennessee Bar Associations and serves on the boards of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association, South Union Shaker Village, and the Delta Kappa Epsilon International Judicial Committee.
