OUTCOME: Not Guilty - All Charges

Mr. M. was charged with Aggravated Assault on an Officer after having been placed under arrest for DUI. The police accused Mr. M. of assaulting the officer by grabbing his taser with threats to use th ... e same on the officer. Officers tackled Mr. M. before the taser could be used. Mr. M. was on felony probation at the time of the offense and given his prior felony convictions was facing no less than 10 years in the Department of Corrections, if convicted. Mr. M. took the case to trial and was found Not Guilty after I was able to discredit the officers claims that any assault ever happened.

OUTCOME: Not Guilty - All Charges

Mr. D. was charged with two counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor. Given the alleged victims age of 4 years old, Mr. D. was facing life in prison. Prior to trial, I was able to get one of the counts ... dismissed. Mr. D. maintained his innocence from the time of his arrest and the case proceeded to trial. After discrediting the mother of the alleged victim, along with the other witnesses to the alleged conduct, the jury found Mr. D. Not Guilty of all charges.

OUTCOME: Not Guilty - All Charges

Mr. O was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree. At the time the offense was alleged to have been committed, Mr. O was on felony probation and had multiple felony convictions. Mr. O was accused ... of having entered into someone's home with his co-defendant. Inside of the home were two young children who were hiding in the closet calling 911. At trial, Mr. O testified that he was not inside of the property - only outside in the front - and that he did not know his co-defendant did not have permission to be inside the house. In trial, the eldest child who was inside the home testified that she saw Mr. O in her backyard however, during my cross examination, her story was discredited and the jury found Mr. O Not Guilty.
