OUTCOME: Both cases were dismissed the day of trial.

In March 2017, I was appointed to represent a young man facing 25 years to life for two Aggravated Robbery Deadly Weapon charges after my client fired the retained attorney two years after arrest. I p ... repared for trial for seven months while pointing out to the prosecutor the weaknesses in the State's cases against my client. A new prosecutor rotated into the court two weeks prior to the trial date. This new prosecutor actually studied the cases and listened to my advice about the problems in their cases. Both first degree (enhanced) cases were dismissed the day of trial. Client was set free immediately and enjoyed the holidays with his family.

Lisa has regularly obtained no-bills (dismissals) from the Grand Jury throughout her defense career. Using her experience as a felony Grand Jury Prosecutor, Lisa meets with the prosecutor and Grand Jurors to provide evidence to exonerated her client. The Grand Jurors have sided with Lisa and rejected the cases because there was no probable cause to arrest her clients.

OUTCOME: NOT GUILTY

Client drove car into his apartment complex's office building. He failed Walk & Turn and One Leg Stand Field Sobriety tests miserably. His Toyota Camry suddenly accelerated yet Client was able to co ... ntrol the racing car enough to drive around another car and between two metal poles. But the jury learned that he was not very coordinated; he was a geek. The jury was able to see on the video that he was articulate and respectful at the scene, despite the arresting officer's condescending treatment and rush to judgment. They found him NOT GUILTY. The arrest was expunged from Client's record after the trial because he was exonerated by the jury!

Step father was accused of molesting his 13 yr old step-daughter. But alleged victim made up the charge so that she could remain in another state for the upcoming school year, to be with her 19 year ... old boyfriend. Cross examination of the step-daughter brought out the truth. Justice was served with the Jury's "Not Guilty."

Lisa's client was charged with stealing batteries from a gas drilling site. Because of prior felony convictions, the client was facing 25 yrs to life in prison. Her co-defendant husband was video tap ... ed at the scene. But Lisa's client was not involved in the crime. Lisa provided evidence to the prosecutor establishing her client's whereabouts during the crime, thus showing her innocence. The Grand Jury no-billed the case.

Lisa aggressively pushed three different prosecutors who handled this case [2nd degree felony Burg Hab and 3rd degree felony Impeding Breathing] to ultimately reduce the case to one count of misdemean ... or assault. Client was previously charged in two other cases with Felony Assault and Interfering w 911 Call. Both of those were dismissed after Lisa fought for her client. Lisa had obtained another felony no-bill for this client on 2nd degree felony Aggravated Assault charges in March, 2011.
