OUTCOME: No jail time, 6 months probation

Client was pulled over for OWI and was taken into custody. They blew very high and was charged with super drunk. This means that they blew over a .17 in Michigan. They were actually .21. I was able to ... get this reduced to operating while visibly impaired by getting out in front of it and directing the client on the steps to take before their court date. The client never lost their license where they were facing a 45 day suspension with a year of restricted license and an interlock device (breathalyzer in their vehicle)

OUTCOME: Fines and costs no probation.

Client blew a .16 and had an uphill battle. Was able to persuade the prosecutor into giving a reduction and the client took the plea. After creating a sentencing memorandum and arguing at sentencing fo ... r a lower level of supervision on probation the judge agreed with me that the client was a contributing member of society and that they were not a threat. The Judge sentenced my client to fines and costs and was not give a probation term
